Yıldız Holding implements its new working model “SATELLITE”

As of September 1, 2021, Yıldız Holding is going to gradually implement its “SATELLITE – Next Generation Working Models” project, which can respond to the changing needs of the business world and adapt to future needs quickly and effectively. Designed rigorously with the contributions of Holding employees and experts, the SATELLITE model comprises office-based, hybrid, remote, and on-site working systems depending on the duties and responsibilities of employees. Within this context, new working areas will be created in Holding offices in line with the requirements of this structure.

Yıldız Holding has designed a new working model based on the research conducted on the efficiency and transformation of working models in the rapidly changing business world, and employee expectations. The SATELLITE – Next Generation Working Models project, which will be implemented as of September 2021, is based on three main elements:  The feedback received from employees through surveys, analysis of existing jobs and workforce, and examination of global trends and applications. Designed with the contributions of Holding employees and experts after the completion of these steps, the SATELLITE model  comprises office-based, hybrid, remote, and on-site working systems depending on the duties and responsibilities of employees.

Having also set in detail the specific conditions and requirements for each working system as part of SATELLITE which ensures an uninterrupted communication among various business families working with different models, Yıldız Holding will start operating within a more efficient, dynamic, and agile structure. The SATELLITE will be gradually implemented at Yıldız Holding and all its affiliated companies in Turkey to be completed by January 1, 2022. Along with SATELLITE, Yıldız Holding buildings and offices will be redesigned to create areas that intertwine physical and virtual environments, increase the number of shared working areas, designate special areas for digital meetings, and enhance socialization.

Tütüncü: “With SATELLITE, we aim to not only contribute to employee experience, but also become a more attractive employer for new talents and enhance existing employee engagement”

Highlighting that the new working model will both enable adaptation to today’s requirements and a structure that can be easily adapted to future needs, Yıldız Holding CEO Mehmet Tütüncü, said: “The global pandemic has been an important experience for the entire business world, particularly in terms of new working models. We rapidly implemented remote working model in all our offices during the pandemic, which was a critical example of adaptation to unexpected changes. We also worked on the future of our ways of doing business, and saw that change was possible and applicable. The material outcome of this comprehensive effort was “SATELLITE – Next Generation Working Models.” Responding to today’s needs and meeting the expectations of next generation employees, SATELLITE can be restructured in line with the needs of future and will enable us to focus more on value-adding tasks and increase efficiency. With SATELLITE, we aim not only to contribute to employee experience, but also become a more attractive employer for new talents and enhance existing employee engagement. Along with the implementation of SATELLITE, we will also make some changes in our offices to create a working environment that supports innovation and co-working, continuous communication, and our sense of belonging. We intend to implement new programs to maintain the wellbeing of our employees as well.”
