With a customer base of 2.2 million, Bizim Toptan makes a difference in the industry through distinctive practices based on technology-driven quality services

As one of the leading organized wholesale companies of Turkey, Bizim Toptan continued to make significant contributions to the society and Turkish economy in 2020.

Bizim Toptan Satış Mağazaları, Turkey’s most expansive organized wholesale store and most preferred brand for safe and reliable shopping, announced its 2020 results via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). Bizim Toptan delivered a successful performance in 2020 by offering customized services to its customers. Supporting its organized and omni-channel sales strategy with its technology investments, Bizim Toptan increased its customer base to 2.2 million and achieved a sales revenue of TRY 5.4 billion with a net profit of TRY 38.2 million, thanks to the quality services it offers.

Introducing 64 new private label products in 2020, Bizim Toptan continued its operations across Turkey with its portfolio of approximately 8 thousand products, including 318 private label products, and over 2,500 employees. The company also completed all required processes to manage environmental issues in line with international standards and made it among the 58 companies on Borsa Istanbul Sustainability Index (BIST) on the basis of its 2019 Sustainability Report.

Technology-driven service quality

Continuously improving the quality of the services offered to customers, Bizim Toptan organizes customized campaigns to each customer, particularly on the basis of its robust CRM infrastructure and artificial intelligence technologies. Reinforcing its competency in delivering uninterrupted services with these technologies during the pandemic as well, the company meets customer needs uninterruptedly on the basis of its omnichannel sales strategy. The “Click&Collect” system launched in 2020 enables customers to make online purchases via Bizim Toptan website and pick up their orders from the Bizim Toptan store of their choice within the time period they specify.

Noting that the company had a very successful year in 2020, Bizim Toptan CEO Hüseyin Balcı said: “We increased our sales revenues to TRY 5.4 billion and the number of customers to 2.2 million, thanks to our omni-channel sales model, wide range of customers, the advantage of our investments in digitalization, and our powerful CRM infrastructure. We have renewed our digital sales platform into one that can be customized for commercial customers in particular, that knows its customers well and makes special offers accordingly. We aim to position Bizim Toptan as a personalized digital sales operation in the upcoming period and we believe that we will achieve this in a short time through our enterprise resource planning system (ERP) and the new investments in our digital commerce infrastructure.”
