In this period, ŞOK Marketler opened 667 new stores and provided employment for approximately 5,000 people despite the pandemic.
ŞOK Marketler, one of the fastest growing food retail chains in Turkey, has disclosed its financial statement for the first 9 months of 2020 to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). According to the disclosure, ŞOK Marketler increased its net sales revenues to TL 15.4 billion with a year-on-year increase of 30.2 percent. The company continued to open new stores, generate employment, and contribute to the national economy despite the pandemic. Having opened 667 new stores in the first 9 months of 2020, ŞOK Marketler provided new employment opportunities to approximately 5,000 people. The total number of stores reached 7,882 and number of employees increased to 34,634.
