Bizim Toptan is now entitled to be included in BIST Sustainability Index

Turkey’s leading commerce platform Bizim Toptan has become entitled to be included in Borsa Istanbul’s (BIST) Sustainability Index on the basis of its 2019 Sustainability Report that discloses its efforts towards sustainable growth. Following Ülker, ŞOK Marketler and Kerevitaş, Bizim Toptan is the fourth Yıldız Holding company to be included in the index.

With 173 stores in 70 cities, Turkey’s most widespread wholesale supermarket Bizim Toptan Satış Mağazaları (BIZIM) issued its 2019 Sustainability Report in which it transparently shares its environmental, social, economic, and administrative sustainable practices and performance between 1 January and 31 December 2019. Successfully meeting the ‘Index Selection Criteria’ identified by Borsa Istanbul (BIST), Bizim Toptan has become one of the 58 companies in the BIST Sustainability Index, which includes companies with a high-level corporate sustainability performance. Determined by Bizim Toptan Sustainability Committee and accelerated in line with Yıldız Holding's sustainability strategy This Is Our World, sustainability efforts focus on efficient use of energy, digitalization, product safety, employee satisfaction, brand and reputation management, and supply chain. Upon the inclusion of Bizim Toptan in the BIST Sustainability Index following Ülker, ŞOK Marketler and Kerevitaş, the number of Yıldız Holding companies in the index reached four.
