Bizim Toptan increased sales revenues to TL 2.5 billion in the first half of 2020

Turkey’s leading organized wholesaler Bizim Toptan raised its total sales revenues to TL 2.5 billion in the first half of 2020, with a year-on-year increase of 16.7 percent. 

Bizim Toptan Satış Mağazaları (BIZIM), Turkey’s leading organized wholesaler with 173 stores throughout Turkey, SEÇ Market business partnership supply system, and Prosaf professional sales force, has announced its financial statement for the first half of 2020. According to the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Bizim Toptan increased its sales revenues 16.7 percent compared to the first half of 2020 and earned TL 2.5 billion thanks to its organized and multi-channel sales management strategy. Successfully managing the impact of the pandemic on out-of-home consumption with its multi-channel sales strategy, Bizim Toptan also increased its net profit by 6.2 percent year-on-year, reaching TL 11.2 million TL.

Evaluating Bizim Toptan’s performance in the first half of 2020, Bizim Toptan CEO Hüseyin Balcı stated that the goal of the company is to continue to provide uninterrupted services with the best prices even in the most severe periods of COVID-19 pandemic, while also protecting the health of both employees and customers. Underlining that Bizim Toptan has rapidly adapted to the changing circumstances and avoided supply problems even when there were curfews and many stores and out-of-home points of sale were closed, Mr. Balcı said: “For instance, we rapidly activated the ‘click and take-away’ service in all stores to support customers who avoided going to the stores and wanted to use their time efficiently.” Also pointing out that Bizim Toptan’s business partnership supply system SEÇ Market continued its growth in the first half and contributed to the national economy, Hüseyin Balcı added: “During this period, revenues gained through SEÇ Market reached TL 342 million and in line with our financial plan, the number of business partners increased to 938. As Bizim Toptan, we will always continue to serve and support our customers uninterruptedly with the best prices under all circumstances.”
