At Yıldız Holding, the method of management is organized around the dynamics of all of its companies, while keeping in mind “Yıldız Holding’s mission, vision and values”.
In the years leading up to the 1990’s, Yıldız Holding concentrated most of its business activities on traditional fields like biscuits and chocolate. In the 90’s, the organization adopted a different approach to management and began a policy of vertical and horizontal integration, investing in new categories and laying the groundwork for the process of globalization.
The company formed a new management team that was more suitable for the restructured strategy of the company. By sharing authority and cooperating with each other, management took on a more professional and efficient character. Within the framework of simple principles, faster and goal-oriented management principles, the integrated structure of the groups was designed to work in a perfect way.
During this critical transformation aimed at globalization, it was reorganized to make it suitable for the requirements of the time. During the restructuring of management, the experience and precepts of Yıldız Holding’s Founder and Honorary President, Sabri Ülker were guidelines which were always relied upon.
It was important to appoint members to the Yıldız Holding Board of Directors whose past experience and current values corresponded to those of the holding, and equally important that they have good rapport with each other. A common ethic and shared business values are the elements that constitute the holding’s management of its groups and companies.
